Wing athletics inter squadron competition

In May the wing athletics competition was held. Cadets from 2388 sqn participated in many events including 100m, 200m, 800m, and 1500m running events as well as long jump, discus, shot and javelin. The sqn was represented in the junior, youths and senior girls and boy’s events. The sqn won 1 gold medal 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. We also won a trophy for are male youths for scoring the most points. We also came joint 3rd overall in the competition. Well done to all the cadets who came to represent the sqn in the various events.     

Bronze actual Duke of Edinburgh expedition

Cadets from 2388 sqn also participated in a bronze actual expedition in the Scarborough area, all the cadets who used this as there bronze actual expedition passed the weekend.
