Presentation Evening

On the 1st December 2388 Castleford squadron held the annual presentation evening to present cadets with awards and commendations for there outstanding work and effort through the past year. 36 cadets attended with many parents and guests turning up to congratulate the cadets on their achievements. Wing Commander Rodger Moss inspected the cadets in a formal inspection before moving on to handing out the awards. The Wing Commander complimented 2388 squadron on the smart appearance and outstanding behavior of the cadets through out the night. Throughout the evening there were many presentations by the cadets and staff looking at the many activities over the past year and various aspects of the squadron. Also the 2388 “trio” performed festive Christmas music for the parents and guests.

Netball Medals for representing Wing – Cpl L Proctor and (A) Cpl Norton
As well as exam certificates at various levels.

Also Corporal Taylor was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Well done Sgt Taylor!

This years Presentation evening was a great success, many parents commented how they had learnt in greater detail the activities there son/daughter are involved in. A big well done goes out to all the cadets who won awards and participated in the evening.
