Bag Packing

On the 23rd of December cadets from 2388 Castleford squadron held a funding raising event at Sainburys in Cloton Retail Park , Leeds. The event was to raise money for the squadrons general fund with the aim of eventualy buying a new minibus for the squadron. Thirty three cadets turned up throughout the day helping customers pack their Christmas shopping. Also the 2388 "trio" played carols in the entrance getting shoppers in the Christmas mood.

A grand total of £2016 was donated to the squadron which is a registered charity, with a further £188.93 being raised by the 2388 "trio". A big well done goes out to all the cadets who gave up a day of their Christmas holiday from all the commitee and staff of 2388 squadron.
