During there time in the ATC cadets have the chance to get a BTEC qualification at level 2 in aviation studies. This is equal to 1 GCSE at C grade and is also a nationally recognized award.

There are five classification within the ATC, classification badges are worn on the brassard. (see picture to the right)

	First Class Cadet Badge
No badge worn	Second Class Cadet - Enrolled cadet with uniform, no badge worn on brassard

 

Do not get confused between the Cadet RANKS and CLASSIFICATION (Training) structures. They are independent from each other.
